straight up. no rocks. no chasers. no mixers. open the bottle and go. and don’t stop until you are physically unable to go any more. it’s easy. it’s simple. it’s way more fun than making games out of it or fussing it all up with ceremonies or like making some big production out of it. wasting time is a waste of time. it’s not a big deal. it’s not drama class. it’s not something to talk about. it is what it is. it’s how it starts and it is the end in itself. why is this so hard to understand? why go through all the trouble of building all sorts of mechanisms when if you just put your back into it you could move it yourself? mercy? okay, then let go of my hand. here is an easy way to answer a question people seem to think is hard. and really it’s not an answer. it’s just another way to think about the same question that should make the answer more obvious. it goes like this - if all the trees in the whole world fell all at the same time, would it make a sound? and would the woodchuck named chuck give a shit? still stumped? try lsd. try tying your hands behind your back and then try tying your shoes or playing simon. all those lights and sounds make me want to attack panic. how did they build those pyramids anyway? i mean, they didn’t even have a bulldozer right? don’t stop and help. just step over me and don’t look back.
